The “2-Stage” Flanged Ball Valve refers to a valve design by AUTOMA that features a flanged ball valve body with a pneumatic (or optionally other) actuator configured in two-stage mode — i.e., first stage opens partially, second stage completes full open (or vice versa) to provide smooth operation, minimise water hammer, and control flow transitions smoothly.
This type of valve is especially useful in pipeline systems where abrupt opening or closing could cause pressure spikes or damage.
The series includes models such as AD65-15F-2ST, AD65-20F-2ST, AD65-25F-2ST, AD65-32F-2ST, AD65-40F-2ST, AD65-50F-2ST, AD80-65F-2ST, AD80-80F-2ST and AD100-100F-ST
