80ghz Fmcw Radar Cement Level transmitter rs485 -40-120℃ radar Water Tank Liquid Level Sensor.
HCDAR-8x series radar level sensor is one kind of level measuring instrument which uses FMCW special millimeter wave technology, the working frequency is 76-81GHz.
The signal output has options: 2-wire 4-20mA, 4-wire 4-20mA or RS485.
The max measuring range can reach 120m, and the blind zone of 8cm.
The antenna beam angle is about 3°, the outstanding performance makes it workable for the accurate measurement of liquids, solids and powder materials.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
HCDAR-8x series launch a microwave signal frequency changing with the time linearly, the reflected signal and the launched signal are mixed through the “mixer”.
The difference of frequency is proportional to the distance from radar to the reflection surface and get the distance information required through the FFT transform.
FEATURE
HCDAR-6x series has small beam angles, and strong anti-interference ability, which improves measurement accuracy and reliability.
The antenna size is smaller, easy to install. It has small measuring blind zone and shorter wavelength.
HCDAR-6X has a good measurement effect for small tanks and small particles. Non-contact measurement, no wear, no pollution.
Output option: 2-wire (4-20 )mA HART and 4-wire RS485 Modbus.

HCDAR-80 Cement Radar Level Sensor – High Precision 80GHz Radar Level Transmitter for Cement Silo & Liquid Measurement
Introduction to HCDAR-80 Cement Radar Level Sensor
The HCDAR-80 Cement Radar Level Sensor from Hebei Huachuang M&C Technology Co., Ltd. under the HCCK brand is an advanced 80GHz radar level transmitter designed for highly accurate level measurement in challenging industrial environments such as cement silos, powder tanks, and liquid storage vessels.
Modern industrial processes require reliable, maintenance-free, and highly precise level measurement technology. Traditional level measurement methods often struggle in environments with heavy dust, foam, condensation, or extreme temperatures. The HCDAR-80 radar level sensor overcomes these challenges by using high-frequency millimeter-wave radar technology to deliver stable and precise readings.
This radar level measurement device is widely used in industries such as:
-
Cement manufacturing
-
Building materials
-
Chemical processing
-
Food processing
-
Pharmaceutical manufacturing
-
Power plants
-
Water treatment
-
Mining and metallurgy
Thanks to its non-contact measurement technology, the HCDAR-80 radar level sensor ensures long-term reliability with minimal maintenance requirements.
What Is the HCDAR-80 Cement Radar Level Sensor?
The HCDAR-80 radar level sensor is an 80GHz frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar level transmitter designed to measure the level of solids, powders, and liquids inside industrial tanks and silos.
Unlike traditional ultrasonic or capacitive level sensors, radar technology is unaffected by:
-
Dust
-
Temperature
-
Pressure
-
Vapors
-
Foam
-
Condensation
This makes the HCDAR-80 radar level transmitter ideal for cement silo level measurement, where dusty conditions often cause conventional sensors to fail.
Key Features of HCDAR-80 Radar Level Sensor
1. High-Frequency 80GHz Radar Technology
The 80GHz radar frequency provides a much narrower beam angle compared to lower frequency radar sensors.
Advantages include:
-
More precise targeting
-
Better measurement in narrow tanks
-
Reduced interference
-
Improved accuracy in complex environments
This technology enables the HCDAR-80 radar level sensor to measure materials even in narrow silos or tanks with internal structures.
2. High Measurement Accuracy
The HCDAR-80 cement radar level sensor provides measurement accuracy up to:
-
±2 mm accuracy
-
Long measuring range up to 120 meters
This ensures precise inventory control in industrial processes where level measurement accuracy directly impacts production efficiency.
3. Non-Contact Measurement Technology
The radar level transmitter operates using non-contact measurement, meaning the sensor does not physically touch the measured material.
Benefits include:
-
No mechanical wear
-
Maintenance-free operation
-
Long service life
-
Suitable for corrosive materials
This is particularly beneficial in industries handling cement powder, chemicals, or aggressive liquids.
4. Excellent Performance in Dusty Environments
Cement silos are known for extremely dusty conditions. Ultrasonic sensors often fail in such environments because dust absorbs sound waves.
The HCDAR-80 radar level sensor uses electromagnetic waves that penetrate dust easily, making it the ideal solution for:
-
Cement silos
-
Fly ash storage
-
Powder storage tanks
-
Grain silos
5. Strong Anti-Interference Capability
Industrial tanks often contain internal structures such as ladders, pipes, or agitators that may cause measurement interference.
The advanced signal processing algorithm in the HCDAR-80 radar level transmitter effectively filters false echoes to provide reliable measurement data.
